Distribution stable: openSUSE 11.3

Open in new window La longue attente est terminée. Huit mois après la sortie de la dernière version stable, Opensuse 11.3 est officiellement disponible.

Le projet est heureux d’annoncer la sortie de la dernière mouture d’openSUSE en 32 et 64 bits. Cette version arrive avec son lot de mises à jour et nouveautés comme par exemple SpiderOak pour synchroniser gratuitement vos fichiers sur Internet; Rosegarden pour éditer librement vos fichiers audio; Tracker pour une indéxation plus rapide et les mises à jour de Mozilla Firefox et Thunderbird. 

En plus de ces nouvelles fonctionnalités, openSUSE est supporté par les netbooks et le système de fichiers btrfs est lui aussi de la partie. Les utilisateurs voient une prise en charge matérielle éprouvée, avec le kernel 2.6.34…
